- USAT Age Group National Champion M55-59.
- ITU World Long Course podium.
- IM 70.3 World Championship podium (2x's)
- Favorite Triathlon Moment/Memory: Sprint finish to win the M55-59 Age Group at the 2014 Chicago ITU Olympic distance race.
- Funny/Embarrassing Tri Moment: Dropping an S bomb in front of my three kids (all under the age of 8) after missing a goal distance during the swim portion of an indoor triathlon. Even with my goggles on, I could see their eyes open wider than I'd ever seen before.
- Favorite Race: Door County WI sprint
- Fun Facts: Married to Dottie for 31 years...she's the best support crew a triathlete could hope for.
